Full Natal Chart Reading

A full astrological consultation is an investment in yourself, which gives a perspective on your life and highlights your talents, challenges, relationships, and life purpose. Astrology connects you to your higher Self and reveals that time has its own qualities. In moments of change or uncertainty, a reading helps you find meaning and direction, and to know that life isn't just 'one thing after another'. Your reading allows you to tune into cycles of life, and to know that both easy and difficult times don't last. This knowledge is grounding and practical, lets you choose your moment and make better decisions. Astrology has a naturally uplifting and empowering effect. A 75 minute reading, either in person or via Zoom looks up to five years ahead, using a mixture of Vedic astrology, and also Western (Sidereal) techniques. This allows one hour for the reading, plus fifteen minutes for questions. Your Zoom session is also recorded so you can refer back to it, and I give follow-up by email if you have questions afterwards. This is a vital part of the service: the relevance of your astrological reading should become clearer as the future unfolds. Your session includes a gemstone and yagya recommendation. Please pre-book your reading and we can make a Zoom appointment by email. I am usually available Mondays and Tuesdays each week, at a time to be arranged and allowing for any time difference from the UK. I can also make appointments at other days and times to suit you.
Follow-up reading/ Yearly update

Take a closer look at your chart with regular updates. Astrology goes from major trends that stretch over years to influences centring on weeks or days. Birthdays are a renewal of life and you may feel like a different person on a particular anniversary, or around January 1st. These are excellent times to have detailed look at the year ahead. Vedic astrology has specialized techniques - the Varshphala or Solar Return chart that zooms in on the the Sun's annual return to its precise point in your birth chart. This has the effect of a microscope focusing on the finer details of your life. You may also have particular changes going on that will benefit from an astrological view. This can take a full consultation, or else a 30-minute reading allows enough time to focus on a specific area or time period.
Relationship Reading/ Synastry

The study of relationships - also known as 'synastry' - is one of astrology's most sublime uses. Get away from simple Sunsign matching and look at two peoples' whole charts and you find great depth of insight. Astrology explains how and why you and your partner affect each other, what sort of person you are most compatible with, and when you are most likely to find someone. For any couple a proper compatibility reading is an absolute must. This reading combines regular A-B chart matching with traditional Vedic ashtakoota compatibility rating, plus a modern composite chart. This is a technique where a couple's charts are combined to form one horoscope of the relationship.
Do I have to know my birth time?

Preferably yes, and as accurately as possible. You get 100% more information from a horoscope with a birth time than one without. Your time of birth reflects the Earth's rotation on its axis, and a difference of only a few minutes affects the whole layout of your chart. Most people don't know their exact birthtime, but having it within a few minutes is usually enough. The time is written on the birth certificate in many countries - sadly not the UK, except for twins - so it is often possible to find out.
What if I don't know my birthtime?

If your time is known within a window of +/- 2 hours, it is possible to work it out. This process is called 'rectification', where you reverse-engineer the time based on definitive events in your life. Usually, you go to the astrologer, give them your birthtime and they tell you about your life... with rectification, you tell the astrologer about your life and they give you your birthtime.This may take a whole consultation, but you only have to do it once. If you know roughly, even if you were born 'in the morning', or 'around dinnertime', it may still be possible to narrow it down and create an accurate chart. If you really don't know at all, then you can have a chart set for noon on your birth day, which gives perhaps 30-40% of the information. You can also do a horary and/or consultation chart, which is astrological divination - rather like Tarot or Runes, except using a horoscope to answer a specific question or determine an outcome.
What is the difference between Vedic and Western astrology?

The principles of both systems are very similar and use essentially the same symbols - planets, signs and houses. The first difference that strikes a Westerner is, you may not be the sign you thought you were! Vedic astrology (mostly) uses a different reference point, the sidereal zodiac, which is currently 80% of a sign out of alignment with the Western tropical system. This system takes into account a key astronomical movement that makes its readings more accurate and lifelike. Jyotish also has a greater range of predictive techniques. So the Vedic view is not intrinsically 'more fated' than Western astrology, but simply that it maps more deeply the influences that are at work on our lives at any given point.
I'm a Westerner, shouldn't I use Western astrology?"

What we call 'Western Astrology' actually emerged from Persia and Babylonia, and really has little intrinsically Western about it. There are culturally specific parts of Vedic astrology/Jyotish, but in fact it is a universal system of symbolism that applies to human nature across all cultures and times. Vedic astrology is known for its powerful predictive component, but your reading is also personalized and humanistic.
Is my fate written, and can I change it?"

The horoscope is a map of your karma(s), that portion of your destiny which is due to be played out in this lifetime. Though many situations, opportunities and relationships you experience are roughly predestined, you can choose how you react to them. You have freewill to use your own descrimination, and astrology gives you a roadmap to act with greater clarity and for the greater good. Vedic astrology also has a systematic and holistic range of techniques for removing obstacles: mantras, gemstones and rituals that either pacify a troublesome planet or further empower a fortunate star.
Can I ask questions ahead of my reading?

You can, though initially I prefer to come at your chart fresh, with no clues or backstory - particularly if it is my first time reading for you. Then, once I have made my assessment, you can of course ask specific questions about any or all areas of your life.

Full Natal Chart Reading. (75 minutes) £151 GBP

A chart based on an accurate birthtime is an essential guide to your past, present and future, revealing your talents, challenges, desires, and life path. This reading looks five years into the future, using both Vedic astrology and Western (Sidereal) technique.

A full consultation - in person, by phone or via Zoom - looks at love, money, work, relationships, life direction, karmic connections, everything. 75 minutes allows one hour for the reading plus fifteen minutes for questions.

Your Zoom consultation includes a personal gemstone and yagya recommendation.

The session is recorded, so you can also come back at any time afterwards with questions, and get further updates and clarification.

Concise reading (30 minutes) £75 GBP

A shorter natal chart reading, focusing on one year ahead. You may have had a recent session and would like an update or a quick 'status report' on your current stellar trends. Email follow-up after the reading is also offered.

Horary/Consultation chart - (15-20 minutes). £41

Horary Astrology is astro-divination answering of specific questions, rather like runes or Tarot. A chart is cast for the moment the astrologer becomes aware of the question. This method works independently of the natal chart and gets quickly to the heart of the matter.

Synastry/ Relationship reading (60 minutes) - £101 GBP.

Your chart reveals with great precision your view of your parter, your specific relationship needs and prospects for love and compatibility. This is one area where astrology truly comes into its own. It involves analysis of two (accurately timed) charts, though the individual's horoscope in itself is extremely revealing. Whether you are with a new partner, or have been with someone for years, the study of astro-compatitibility will shed new light on your relationship.

Written report - £181 GBP

A Personally-written 1500-word email reading, in PDF format, based on questions from you. This is quite different from a generic computer-generated report, and includes full details of your chart along with colour PDF graphics. I also encourage follow-up questions on your document via email, so the process becomes more personalized.
